AIA Manitoba Division Gives Big for Kids

The Manitoba Division of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada reports that it raised $5,500 at its 6th Annual Sun Fund for Kids Charity Golf tournament at the Shilo Golf & Country Club. AIA Manitoba is the Sun Funds largest contributor.

In addition, a cheque for $1,500 was presented to Asham by Brad Morris, AIA Chairman on behalf of High Five for Kids, bringing the 2010 contributions to $7,000.

Over the last six years, AIA Manitoba, through the Sun Fund for Kids Golf Tournament, has raised $33,800 and sent over 330 children to camp in the Western Manitoba area.

The Sun Fund for Kids is administered by Child and Family Services staff volunteers in Brandon and ensures 100% of funds raised go directly to sending needy children to camp.
