About Samantha Coates
Samantha began her career in the automotive industry 25 years ago at Lordco Auto Parts. She held a variety of positions including inside sales, branch manager and regional manager before becoming vice president of operations. Her previous roles give Samantha a unique perspective, allowing her to understand the challenges that come with overseeing Lordco’s vast operational network.
As vice president of operations, Samantha manages and oversees all Lordco’s operational activities including retail, wholesale, supply chain, distribution and strategic planning.
In addition to her extensive first-hand experience, Samantha had the benefit of working closely with her father, Lordco’s founder, Ed Coates. This gave her the rare opportunity to learn and train under a man who was a foremost leader in the automotive industry.
Along with her work at Lordco Auto Parts, Samantha is also a founding board member for the Ed Coates Memorial Foundation. This organization is devoted to assisting with education and advancement in the trades.
