AIA’s Quebec Division supports the Provincial Skills Competition

The Quebec Division of AIA Canada is proud of its contribution to the success of the Provincial Skills Competition, an important event through the sponsorship of the 15th Quebec Skills Competition, held from May 2-5, 2018 at Place Bonaventure in Montreal.

The competition brought together 312 finalists selected at regional competitions, as well as hundreds of specialized teachers and judges from the industry. During the event, the finalists demonstrated their expertise to more than 12,000 visitors in such disciplines as motor vehicle mechanics, body repairs and welding, to name a few.

In addition, AIA members, Wilson Almeida from the Vast-Auto Academy and Steve Oborne, repair shop owner, participated as judges in the motor vehicle mechanics competition. Steve Oborne is a repair shop owner who represents Quebec on the Automotive Service Providers (ASP) committee of AIA Canada.
