AIA Canada, together with the Canadian Manufacturing Coalition, recently attended a roundtable discussion with the Hon. François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry. During this meeting, we raised concerns that are shared across many industries: labour shortages, disruptions to supply chains, and trade protectionism. AIA Canada will continue to work with government to address these challenges and ensure our members are able to support Canada’s growth and service the vehicles of tomorrow.
But we need your help!
AIA Canada members like you from across the country are advocating for our sector by meeting with their local Members of Parliament to stress the urgent need for right to repair legislation. There is a narrow window for legislation to be brought back to the House of Commons and this local grassroots work will be critical to our success.
Are you interested in meeting with your local MP? Make your voice heard! Connect with Senior Director of Government Relations Alana Baker by email or by phone at (613) 299-4017, and AIA Canada will set everything up for you.
