The Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada is pleased to announce the release of the highly anticipated Advancing Women in Automotive Knowledge Exchange Needs Assessment Report. The Assessment Report is based on the results of nation-wide focus groups of women employed in the automotive aftermarket industry and supplemented by an online survey of human resources insiders.  The report highlighs the current landscape for women working in automotive and recommendations for increasing numbers in the trade.

The View from Here:  2015 Productivity Benchmarks in the Canadian Automotive Service Sector (February 2016)

In 2015, the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA Canada) sponsored a survey of 572 Automotive Service Providers (ASPs), with a view to assessing the size, sales performance and intentions of the Canadian service sector. In comparison with a similar study in 2010, the hours sold per transaction show only minor change, suggesting that the efficiency of Canadian operations has changed little.

2014 Compensation and Benefit Survey Results Report

AIA is pleased to release a Compensation and Benefit Survey covering five key positions in the aftermarket industries. The study was undertaken with eight of Canada’s largest national aftermarket companies. It covers pay rates, vacation and other benefits, and provides a benchmark for industry compensation.The study will be repeated at regular intervals to track the direction of HR policies in the aftermarket industry.
