In Memoriam Jean-Marc Laroche

It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Jean-Marc Laroche. He passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 83.

Mr. Laroche had a distinguished career of nearly 50 years in the automotive aftermarket both at CARQUEST and as an extremely active representative of AIA Canada at various major organizations. He has left a deep imprint for having been at the heart of major structural changes.

In 1998, he was the recipient of the AIA Canada Distinguished Service Award for his outstanding leadership, tenacity and commitment to the growth and progress of the aftermarket. In 2009, he was inducted into the Pioneer Circle by the AIA Quebec Division.
