In 2009, The Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA Canada) commissioned DesRosiers Automotive Consultants (DAC) to explore this issue and design a model that would estimate the total market potential that was available in Canada. The overall result was a model that identified an additional $10.33 billion in potential revenue over what was realized. This report serves to build on the benchmarks set in 2009.
