Our 2023 accomplishments
Held eight in-person networking events and conferences that brought together key members and industry stakeholders.
Played a key role in enacting the first right to repair law in Canada in the province of Quebec, Bill 29, making the right to repair a staple for residents.
Had the government commit to the right to repair in the 2023 Fall Economic Statement.
Helped with the unanimous passing of federal Bill C-244 in the House of Commons, which allows Canadian consumers to choose where they repair their vehicle.
Produced three research reports—and corresponding webinars—that focus on consumer behaviours and labour market challenges. Insights provided from these reports and webinars can help businesses drive strategic decisions.
