International Women’s Day 2025: Celebrating new perspectives in the industry
AIA Canada is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025, a day dedicated to honoring the achievements of women, raising awareness about gender equality, and advocating for progress toward diversity, equity, and inclusion.
As we recognize the incredible contributions of women in the auto care industry, we also acknowledge that there is still work to be done. Fostering inclusivity and ensuring women are attracted to—and retained in—the industry is something that requires continuous work.
The workforce is transforming; more women are stepping into leadership roles, running automotive repair and maintenance shops, and as a result, bringing diverse perspectives to every aspect of business. Whether as technicians, parts suppliers, insurers, or executives, women in auto care continue to excel—driven by their expertise, passion, and dedication to seeing the industry thrive.
As diversity and inclusion continue to become critical pillars, it is imperative that new initiatives are emerging to support women pursuing careers in auto care. AIA Canada remains committed to driving this positive change, fostering an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to the industry’s success.
This International Women’s Day, we are proud to highlight five exceptional women from across Canada who have built successful careers in the industry. These trailblazers have not only overcome challenges but have also become role models—paving the way for future generations of women in auto care.
