AIA Canada takes action to build a stronger national voice for independent service providers in Alberta
The Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada is happy to welcome the members of the Canadian Independent Automotive Association (CIAA) as program participants of the Automotive Service Associate Program (ASAP). Continuing its ongoing efforts to strengthen the voice of automotive service providers across the country on both a provincial and national level, AIA Canada will offer CIAA members a broader platform to address the issues facing the automotive aftermarket.
Formed in 2004, the CIAA has made its mission to change the image of the industry while creating a sustainable aftermarket sector. The Association’s objective is to encourage, support and promote the advancement of its members, who are independent automotive repair businesses based primarily in Alberta.
“Both AIA Canada and the CIAA are driven to improve the automotive aftermarket for both independent businesses and Canadian vehicle owners,” said Jean-François Champagne, President, AIA Canada. “Given the similarity in our mission statements, we naturally fit together. It’s a win-win for both associations.”
Through the Automotive Service Associate Program’s offerings and benefits, AIA Canada is committed to fully supporting the CIAA members in bringing their provincial voice to the national stage.
“I am excited to see the new opportunities that our members can take advantage of through AIA Canada,” said Wayne Paulsen, President, CIAA. “I believe that together we will have a more powerful voice to speak on behalf of the independent repairers.”
