Georgian College, Automotive Industries Association of Canada celebrate grand opening of new Aftermarket Business Lounge at the Barrie Campus April 12
WHAT: Georgian College, home of the Automotive Business School of Canada (ABSC), will celebrate the grand opening of the Aftermarket Business Lounge, which was accomplished with a $250,000 donation from the Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada.
WHO: Tony Canade, Chairman of the Board of AIA, will speak at the event on what inspired the donation and inspiration for the new student-centred space. Canade will be accompanied by student ambassador Josephine Duguay and Georgian College President and CEO MaryLynn West-Moynes. Georgian College students, faculty, staff and volunteers and AIA representatives from across the country will also be in attendance.
WHEN: Tuesday, April 12, noon to 1:30 p.m. – remarks start at noon.
