Another great day meeting with government and political officials for AIA and its members!
Yesterday, AIA members Malcolm Sissmore (Delphi Auto Parts), Susan Hitchon (Schrader Performance Sensors) and Steve Gushie (CARQUEST Canada) along with Jason Kerr (AIA Director, Government Relations) met with members of parliament, Bryan May (Liberal), Francesco Sorbara (Liberal), Brian Masse (NDP) and Celina Caesar-Chavannes (Liberal).
AIA Senior Director, Industry Relations, France Daviault and AIA President, Jean-François Champagne joined the group for a meeting with Mexican delegates, Ambassador Agustín García-López Loaeza and Minister Julián Juárez Cadenas. This was a fantastic opportunity for AIA to discuss the automotive sector with the top Mexican government representative in Canada.
