Last week, the AIA Government Relations Committee met with officers from the Trade Promotions Office at Global Affairs Canada.
The Trade Promotion Office at Global Affairs Canada primarily works with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). They offer assistance for companies looking to go international or even simply expand their business. The office provides trade and investment leads, and operate and support trade shows and missions. In addition, the Trade Promotion Office makes available new market reports and promotion materials. The Office also provides local support to solve overseas problem, such as shipments and border crossings.
