Ontario's Drive Clean Program

The Drive Clean Program in Ontario that the Ford government has called out-dated and no longer effective is ending.

The Trillium Automobile Dealers Association sees the end of the program as "good news for the auto sector, taxpayers and drivers [as] it cuts red tape, and saves time and money. No longer will auto dealers waste money on equipment and overhead costs, freeing up money to invest in their business."

The ousted Liberal government had planned to shut the program down because of better emission control standards on vehicles and federal requirements for cleaner fuel. Read more here.
