The occasion was for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the largest professional training school in the field of motorized equipment in Québec.

During the celebrations, which was hosted by Michel Tremblay and attended by all of the major industry partners, the chair of the Quebec Division, André Latreille, took advantage of the attendance of Vyolaine Dujmovic, the Canadian Skills Competition Autobody Repair winner who will represent Canada at the Worldskills Competition in Abu Dhabi next fall, to officially present her with an award specifically created for the occasion: a $2,500 Excellence Award granted by AIA Canada’s Quebec Division.

Several individuals from the education and aftermarket industry attended the cocktail buffet reception, including Dujmovic's employer, Nuno Victorino from Fix Auto.

AIA would like to congratulate the school administrators, particularly its Principal,  Serge Gauthier, and its Assistant Principal,  Dominique Bousquet for organizing this very successful celebration. The centre received the Bronze medal by the National Assembly of Quebec, presented by Amir Khadir, MNA for Mercier.

The support offered to Ms. Dujmovic is in line with the 2017 Quebec Division’s strategic plan, focused on the introduction of the next generation to the industry as well as the advancement of women in the industry.
