Executive summary

In 2009, AIA Canada commissioned DesRosiers Automotive Consultants (DAC) to explore the issue of underperformed maintenance and develop a model that would calculate the total market value of this neglect in Canada. In the first study, the model concluded that there was an additional $10.33 billion in potential revenue for the industry lost due to delayed or neglected maintenance. This current publication is the third issue of AIA Canada’s Canadian Automotive Aftermarket Demand Study series.
